Four homes are licensed as Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD). The homes are located on a beautiful 4.5 acre lot in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The property is bordered on 2 sides by a city park which offers summer activities such as sporting events and concerts. Two homes have 12 beds, one home has 11 beds, and one home has 6 beds. The home with 6 beds is all female and has live-in staff. The 3 larger homes are co-ed and shift staffed with awake staff at night. Nurses are on duty 7 days per week.
The property affords a lot of area to relax, walk, and engage in outdoor activities without leaving the grounds. Grounds allow for outdoor gardening for residents who are interested. Satellite TV is available in the home and in resident bedrooms. The buildings are one story and have wide hallways and doorways making it easier for individuals with ambulation concerns.
